  1. This program was compiled with C Set++ v2 Sunday June 5th 1994

  3. This is a little utility that will identify if and what kind of OPL
  4. chip you have on your system.  Any OPL chip is assumed to be at
  5. port 389.
  6.  
  7. Under OS/2 2.x,
  8.  
  9. This program requires IOPL privileges.  Make sure you
  10. have IOPL=YES or IOPL=OPLID.EXE in your OS/2 Config.Sys.

  14. For convenience, this programmed was stubbed with a quickly recompiled
  15. DOS version (using BC++ 3)
  16.  
  17. OplID will detect the presence of either OPL2, OPL3 or OPL4 chip.

  19. There is a great OPL4-based soundcard that has support for OS/2, please
  20. consult the Audiotrix.Pro file that comes with this package if you
  21. are interested in getting one.
